Operation Christmas Child

A ministry of Samaritan's Purse

Thank you!!

Thank you to everyone who packed shoeboxes and volunteered for our collection week. Our church collected over 1300 boxes for Operation Christmas Child this year! It is our prayer that the gospel will be shared through these gifts and that children's hearts and lives will be changed forever by the goodness of God. Until 2021!

Share God's Love

Help spread the Good News of God’s love to children in need by packing a shoebox full of simple gifts and sending it off with prayer!

Christ Church is a Drop-off Location for Operation Christmas Child, a project of the international relief organization, Samaritan’s Purse. You may be familiar with this ministry in which a shoebox is filled with small gifts for one child. These simple gifts are shipped outside the United States to children affected by war, poverty, natural disaster, famine, and disease; and to children living on Native American reservations in the U.S.

The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to provide local partners around the world with shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children in their own communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ.

After receiving shoebox gifts, many boys and girls are invited to enroll in “The Greatest Journey”, a 12-lesson discipleship program. Through this program, local ministry partners are able to establish long-term, caring relationships with children and families by sharing the love of Jesus Christ.
