Care Ministry Teams
Our pastor provides pastoral counseling for pre-marital, family and marriage, grief, and other life situations where pastoral guidance and prayer are needed. Contact: Todd Love
Our prayer team meets every Thursday at 8:30am. Contact: Linda Tidwell
The Phone Care Team contacts members and friends of Christ UMC regularly to check in during the COVID19 pandemic, offering words of encouragement, making note of prayer and tangible needs, and getting out information on how to access CUMC Online. Contact: Melissa Bull
Our Director of Visitation delivers and shares communion the first Sunday of the month to persons who are homebound or shut-in or hospitalized. Contact: Angie Gordon
Christ UMC’s Funeral Team sets up for receptions or meals after funerals, serves food, and cleans up following the reception. Contact: Vicky Meister
This team, part of the United Methodist Women, meets monthly to knit or crochet prayer shawls for members, family, or friends of Christ Church experiencing illness, loneliness, or grief. Upon completion, the team prays over each shawl before it is delivered in person, or mailed to people all over the world. Contact: Linda Tidwell
The Mizo Fellowship Church meets on Sunday afternoons in our sanctuary.
